Important Warranty Notes

• Residential applications (U.S. only): Units installed in a residential setting within 12 months of factory shipment are covered by a 1-year parts and labor warranty. Proof of installation by a certified refrigeration technician is required — plumbers, electricians, and contractors without a refrigeration handling certificate do not qualify. Residential installations outside the United States are not covered.
• Water Filter Extended Warranty Program (CIM & ICE Series): Machines registered in the program receive 84 months of parts and labor coverage on the evaporator plate from the date of original installation. Filters must be installed at the time of ice machine installation and registered with the Company; cartridges must be changed every six months and reported to the Company.
• Maximum warranty window: If the Electronic Registration or Warranty Registration Card is not returned to Ice-O-Matic, the warranty period begins on the date of shipment from the factory. Regardless of the actual installation date, the product is warranted for a maximum of 72 months from date of shipment (3 years parts and labor, 5 years on evaporators & compressors, with a 1-year window to register the unit).
• Pre-approval requirements: All evaporator repairs require pre-approval with clear pictures of the front and back of the evaporator plate (without water). All compressor repairs require a picture of the defective compressor's serial number before the claim is processed.
